Atlas Copco has received an order, worth $22 million, for Dynapac-branded rollers and pavers from Xuzhou Gongli Road and Bridge Construction Machinery.
Xuzhou Gongli is a rapidly growing construction equipment contractor that is doing business in five major provinces of China.
The order was signed at a formal ceremony during the Bauma exhibition in Shanghai, China. The equipment will be used to construct highways, bridges, dams and airports throughout China and will be delivered during a six month period in 2010/2011, said the company.
“We are proud to receive this large order for road construction equipment on the important Chinese market,” said Björn Rosengren, business area president of Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Technique. “It shows that Chinese customers value the strong performance they get from Dynapac equipment and the added value we offer through our Chinese service and support organisation.”
