Khidmah takes part in ninth Clean Up UAE campaign, organised by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG).

Properties and facilities services provider, Khidmah, has taken part in a clean up drive at Al Mutaheda School for Basic and Secondary Education for Girls in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi.
The initiative, was the ninth Clean Up UAE campaign, organised by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). The campaign included 450 female students, teachers and Khidmah employees, picking-up litter in the school playgrounds, assembly area and carpark.
“One of our goals this year is to run environmental friendly activities in our communities as well as on a larger scale. By participating in the "Clean Up UAE" event at the school, we are doing our bit to raise awareness of this important issue," said Abdulla Al Qamzi, managing director, Khidmah.

“Khidmah provides facilities management services to multiple clients in the Western Region. The selection of a school to provide this service was to give something back to the clients we serve.”
The company is currently working on some green initiatives including clothing recycling, air conditioning refrigerant recycling to using environmentally friendly cleaning products, low VOC paints and solar powered mobile phones and GPS systems in vehicles to save fuel consumption.
