Dedon
Thanks to its cosy, protective, organic structure, Nest Rest transforms your typical garden sofa into an architectural piece, offering a secluded, suspended sanctuary as it rocks you and puts you at ease like a warm embrace. It’s the perfect place for relaxation, meditation and open-air conversations.
Created by Fred Frety & Daniel Pouzet, two longtime collaborators of Dedon design partner Jean-Marie Massaud, Nest Rest was inspired by the shapes, textures and colours found in nature, and by the sophisticated design of certain bird nests.
It is constructed out of a new, specially created Dedon fibre, four cms wide, guaranteeing a sturdy and solid weave that is open, breathable and private.

Built around an aluminum frame, Nest Rest is lighter than one might assume, weighing 100kg. Available in both natural and chalk colours, it may be hung from trees or other supports using ropes either inside or outdoors.
