High construction activity in Saudi has caused Kryton to increase its presence.

Kryton International has installed Abdulrahman Jbara as territory manager in Saudi Arabia as the company intensifies its focus on the Middle East construction market.
The Canadian supplier of products for waterproofing and preserving concrete structures, based in Vancouver, has been active in the region for the last five years and has developed a range of climate-specific products to compete with local equivalent firms.
“Jbara is an expert in the field and is an excellent addition to our growing team in the Middle East” said Kevin Davis, Kryton’s director of sales. “His experience will be an asset to our strategic growth plan and we look forward to have him lead our advancement in the region”

Jbara has worked in the building materials industry for over a decade in the United Arab Emirates and other Arab countries, with previous positions at formwork rivals Doka and Peri as well as Imperbit Membrane Industries.

Kryton has been developing a range of climate-specific products to meet Middle Eastern requirements, launching last year its Hydrostop Restore & Protect System, a coating that aims to extend the useful life of concrete infrastructure and buildings
It also has extended its manufacturing and logistics chain by opening a warehouse in Jebel Ali Freezone. The company aims to capitalise on the high construction activity in Saudi Arabia that has arisen through billions of riyals opf government investment in houses, financial districts, econmic cities, port developments and airports.
