Bahrain's chronic shortage of housing will be addressed during the MENA region's first congress on mortgage and affordable housing projects.
Several social housing programmes worth $7bn are being planned for Bahrain, while the government says it is committed to helping families that have, in some cases, been waiting more than a decade for homes.
Christopher Sims, CEO at Bahrain-based developer Naseej said," We hope the coming congress will lead to a quicker progress in providing affordable housing across the region.”
The MENA Mortgage and Affordable Housing Congress will take place on the 23rd and 24th November.
