Averda is on track with helping Abu Dhabi achieve its title of one of the world’s cleanest cities by 2030 says CEO Malek Sukkar.
The company recently launched the reverse vending machine and the waste management application, iaverda, both designed to enhance the environment, transport and heritage of the UAE’s capital and more far-flung areas such as Al Ain and Al Gharbia.
“The Centre of Waste Management in Abu Dhabi has adopted Averda’s newest technology, the iaverda app, to help in keeping the residential areas covered by Averda clean,” said Sukkar. “iaverda is the country’s first iPad and iPhone application that allows the community to take action in the cleaning of their environment.”

But it’s not just Abu Dhabi that the company is concerned about.
“We are right on track and keep on improving and expanding our scope of work and services in order to achieve and help achieve this great initiative. The initial launch of the app is for the Abu Dhabi communities that Averda provides services for, but it will soon be available across all emirates of the UAE,” confirmed Sukkar.
