Trimble opens in China

Machine control solutions provider, Trimble, is opening a manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China in order to better meet the needs of the Asia-Pacific region.

"The opening of the Shanghai manufacturing operation is an important extension of our presence in China and the Asia-Pacific region," said Chris Shephard, vice president of Trimble's engineering and construction group.

The facility will be located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.
