“We know well that the Middle East Concrete Exhibition is the most important event that brings the professionals together so it is important for us.”
Middle East Concrete 2011 is a separate show running in conjunction with The Big 5 in Dubai. It will feature exhibitors from across the concrete industry supply chain, including a special ‘zone’ for precast manufacturers, machinery vendors as formwork suppliers.
Kocak added that the company hoped to reach end users such as owners of concrete batching plant and chemical facilities, as well as securing relationships with dealers in the Gulf states in which the company has no current distribution.
“We will be exhibiting together with our UAE dealer for the first time, so it will also be interesting to see their potential in terms of presentation and customer base.”
Meanwhile, Stonetec, a Canadian stone cutting company, is also aiming to expand its regional network at the show. “We are looking forward in establishing business relationships with a powerful equipment distributor of the region,” Iuliana Morar, president, said, adding that the show itself is a “recognition of the role that the concrete industry plays in the Middle East dynamic construction landscape".
