Nass Contracting’s asphalt division has won a contract to provide roadworks for a diesel top-loading facility from Bahrain Petroleum Company worth more than BD 384,000 ($1.02m).
The subsidiary, part of listed parent company Nass Corporation, will build the facility at Sitra Marketing Terminal. It is the first phase of the project.
BAPCO is a state-owned energy company involved in exploration, drilling and prospecting as well as refining and distribution. It is expanding its facilities with a range of tenders.

Nass Contracting’s asphalt division has won a few contracts this year, including a $5.3m deal earlier this month to provide surfacing and reinstatement for the dry dock highway and the Samahij link road in the capital, Manama.
Nass Asphalt, now ten years old, was originally formed to carry out the pavement works for the contractor’s Hidd Infrastructural project. The division has since carried out other works for the Nass Group during this period as well as some for external customers.
