UK automotive show Top Gear broke new ground when two of its presenters drove to the North Pole in a Toyota Hilux, modified for the ice and snow by specialised vehicle firm Arctic Trucks.
The company has now applied its expertise to the desert with a collaboration with Toyota dealership Al Futtaim Motors by modfying a Land Cruiser, FJ Cruiser and Hilux for extreme off road conditions. The vehicles debuted during the Dubai MotorShow in November, but this is the first time they've been seen in action.
Below is a video that was shot at the Arctic trucks facility in Dubai and the Sharjah desert that shows how the modifications were done on the Xtreme vehicles and their amazing off-road capabilities.
