A number of FM companies including Dulsco and Emrill established their presence at the second annual Middle East Owners Association Manager’s conference.
FM companies present at the two day conference said it was essential for them to be there and show how how they could advise the new client base, owners associations, on required facilities services.
"We felt it was necessary during a time of change in the industry that we were present to support association managers and interim board members by being proactive in understanding the current concerns and developments in the industry," said Alison Kitching, senior FM, Emrill.

Through the discussions and dialogues over these two days, we have a more in depth and richer understanding of what our customers need, what their expectations and priorities are. This allows us to tailor our services to meet these requirements and helps us as facilities services providers to offer more value to our customer," she added.
Ajay Kumar, senior manager, operations, Dulsco, said Dulsco was there to demonstrate its offerings to the new OA client base and to raise awareness of the importance of proper waste disposal to help resolve the issue of overflowing landfills in the region.
"If you are not aware of the waste handling and recycling options then you end up sending everything to landfill. As a responsible company, it becomes our duty to make people aware of the options available. We’re here to influence the OAM’s to encourage OA’s to engage in this process in order to eliminate improper disposal of waste."
