AE Arma-Elektropanç, the Turkish MEP company, has confirmed the launch of its Lebanese subsidiary, AE Lebanon, through which it intends to target the Levant region.
A JV with Radiant Contracting, owned by the Hariri Family, the new company aims to establish itself in Beirut first and target the growing construction sector momentum in the Lebanese capital.
“If you go to Beirut, you’ll see that there’s a lot of construction going on. All of these buildings (being built) are A+ buildings, which means that 25% to 30% of the construction is MEP related.

“There are a lot of jobs for us and there are not a lot of competitors like there are in other markets, so it’s a good opportunity for us,” Burak Kizilhan, business development manager at AE Arma-Elektropanç, told MEP Middle East.
“Our objective as a MEP contractor is to carry a local brand onto a global level. This partnership with the Hariri family is a significant step towards becoming a global player,” he added.
The new partnership between the MEP contractor and Radiant Contracting aims to expand into Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Qatar in the near future.
“Our next target is to go to Jordan and hopefully Syria when things calm down, but the first thing we intend to do is enter Jordan, Syria and Egypt through AE Lebanon. It’s going to be our base for the Levant area,” said Kizilhan.
