Al Majaz is located on the Khalid Lagoon Corniche in Sharjah.

The $26.6m Al Majaz waterfront project, which will include what is claimed to be the largest musical fountain in the Middle East, is expected to open before the end of the year.
The development, spread across 21,500m2 in the heart of the city, is the first project for the Sharjah Investment & Development Authority's Shurooq investment company.
Located on the Khalid Lagoon Corniche, "it will be one of the most important recreational sites and family destinations in the country," said Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Shurooq's chief executive.
With the ability to shoot water up to 100m in the air over a 220m-wide pool, the fountain also boasts sound, lights and lasers.

Six buildings will contain fast-food restaurants, cafes and recreational areas, with views overlooking the fountain at the centre of the waterfront.
There will also be a 800m2 splash park will be a fully automated aquatic play area suitable for the entire family, from toddlers to adults, as well as for children with special needs.
