“Understanding that water and energy are inextricably linked is crucial for modern infrastructure planning. This is especially vital in arid areas such as the Middle East.”
“We bring together Black and Veatch’s globally recognised energy and water expertise in one location and combine it with our integrated project team approach. This allows us to better meet the needs of local clients,” Len Rodman explained.
The company is currently working on a number of energy projects, including the 2X660MW heavy fuel oil thermal power plant in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
It is also working on a 430MW and 15MIGD RO Salalah Independent Water and Power project in Oman.
Its current water projects include the $120m Wadi Dayqah Water Supply Scheme in Oman and the Kuwait 8 B Sewerage scheme.
The new location in Dubai Internet City will provide an operations base for planning and execution for both professional services and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects
