DP Architects has been appointed the master planner for Seef Lusail, a project by developer Seef Lusail Real Estate Development Company. Seef Lusail is a 600,000m2 multi-use development at the Lusail waterfront on the outskirts of the Qatari capital of Doha.
DP Architects is a leading architectural practice in Asia, with over 1,200 staff and 12 offices worldwide. It has been operating in the Gulf since 2005.
Its key projects in the region include the Dubai Mall, the Address at Dubai Marina, Doha Festival City, Dilmunia Health City in Bahrain and the Eighth Gate in Damascus.
Seef Lusail will feature an interactive 2.3km waterfront promenade. One of the hotels will be a fully integrated resort and spa.

"We are very excited about the JV with Qatari Diar. We have put together a world-class team from both organisations that will develop the project," said Khalid Ahmad Fakhroo, executive director of engineering and real estate at Masraf Al Rayah and CEO of Seef.
"We have conducted research and market studies aimed at helping us design a sustainable development in line with Qatar's 2030 Vision."
Seef is a JV between Masraf Al Rayan and Qatari Diar that will take on the full development of Seef Lusail. Issa Mohammed Al Kaladari, CEO of Lusail City, is chairman of Seef.
