UK consultancy Capita Symonds has unveiled its futuristic mall design for Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

UK consultancy Capita Symonds has unveiled its futuristic mall design for Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

Revealed on World Architecture News, the 121,000m² proposed development will contain three levels with key anchor stores at either end and a ‘lifestyle street’ that connects to the existing urban fabric.

The project features a sweeping glazed roof with traditional Arabic patterning. It is due for completion in 2014. Al-Ahsa is situated in Saudi's eastern region, inland from Dammam in the an area known as Al-Bahrayn.
