Jubail has signed three contracts worth $41m for new subways and two new schools- the latest in a series of projects signed for the industrial city.
Al-Harby Contracting and Trading Company secured a deal to build three subways on the west of the Abdul Aziz Road to link the neighborhoods of Al-Jar and Al-Musheireef housing areas with the city coastline.
It is part of a wider plan to develop infrastructure in the region, and make up a art of the first phase of the project. The contract is to be completed over a two year period.
Specialist Contracting Company Ltd was appointed to build two schools – and intermediate school near Al Jabriya 2 and the other is a high school in Al-Alfaisal 1 – both within the industrial area of the city.
The intermediate school will be built on a 30,500m2 plot, while the high school has been assigned a 39,000m2 area.
