United Facilities Management Company (UFMCO) has secured a contract for FM provisions on the Pearl Qatar.
The agreement will see UFMCO provide engineering, infrastructure maintenance, road cleaning and public area cleaning, irrigation, landscaping, beach-cleaning, fountain and water feature maintenance services, coastal water and canal cleaning, pest control, waste collection and public area lighting services to Madinainova which managed both The Pearl Central Authority District (TCAD) and the Pearl Qatar Master Community.
Alfred Bangura, General Manager UFMCO said: "This provides a single point of contact and taking responsibility for its clients’ property portfolio maintenance and upgrade needs. Services will include MEP engineering services, cleaning and management."

Francis Giani, General Manager, Master Community Management TCAD, added that the agreement would ensure the public areas of The Pearl-Qatar were maintained at the highest standards.
"The Pearl-Qatar is a unique community with a pristine and safe environment. This agreement with UFMCO will enable us to continue to provide an exclusive living environment for residents and visitors."
This year UFMCO will engage in formal Service Level Agreements with clients in Qatar and at The Pearl-Qatar. It also plans to establish The Pearl-Qatar as a centre of FM excellence as a platform to showcase its business.
