Fujairah City Centre, the first of its kind in the emirate, will open on 4 April.
The mall, developed by Majid Al Futtaim Properties and government owned Fujairah Investment Establishment, will be Al Futtaim’s sixth shopping mall in the UAE.
It will be located at the intersection of the new Fujairah-Dubai highway and the Masafi Highway.

The mall, developed at a cost of $108m, will have 34,000m2 of retail space and specialty stores and entertainment facilities.
"Fujairah City Centre is the largest shopping mall in the emirate of Fujairah, and a key destination for the secondary trade areas in the northern emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain,” said senior mall manager Majid Al Fahim.
“Given the underdeveloped retail landscape in these areas, Fujairah City Centre will be one of the pioneering malls to introduce the lifestyle, entertainment and shopping destination concept to the residents of Fujairah and neighbouring emirates,” he added.
A growing residential population has boosted the retail industry in the emirate. While it is not as developed as the two main retail centres, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it is steadily growing. According to Euromonitor, consumers in Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah spent $460m on clothing and footwear last year, compared with $3.4bn in Dubai and $3.5bn in Abu Dhabi.
