11 Mahmood Mohd Amin
Mahmood Mohd Amin holds the dual hats of being CEO of World Security and CEO of the Ports Customs and Free Zone Corporation’s (PCFC) security division. He has been a key figure in the industry with regards to securing the major trading hubs (ports and free zones) of Dubai since 1990.
Recipient of the International Security Excellence Award in 1995 for having designed the complete security operational framework for the cruise terminal at Port Rashid, his vision transformed the security department of the PCFC into a world class security firm serving a diverse and multinational clientele.
For his considerable efforts and remarkable performance, Mahmood Amin was appointed chief executive officer of PCFC Security and World Security by the board of directors in April 2004.
Under his leadership and direction, World Security rapidly established itself as one of the leading providers of security solutions in the region which culminated with its being recognised as the “Security Company of the Year” in both 2011 and 2012 at the fmME awards.
