Emirates Facilities Management has won a one-year contract with the UAE Ministry of Education to provide FM services at 67 government schools located across the remote eastern regions of the UAE, which include Dibba, Kalba and Khorfakkan.

The venture is in line with the Ministry of Education's drive to ensure that all government schools in the UAE, including those located in smaller townships, enjoy the same high standards in facilities management. More than 40,000 students will benefit from Emirates FM’s services at their schools.

Jaber Al Ali, general manager, Emirates Facilities Management, said, "We are happy that the Ministry of Education has entrusted us with the responsibility to upkeep schools in remote areas of the country.”

“Given the fact that children are prone to accidents and exposed to infectious diseases during their time at school, our priority to ensure health, hygiene and safety in schools assumes greater significanc.

“We are confident that the UAE government schools will benefit from our best-in-class FM practices that we aim to deploy through our large network of service centres and access to state-of-the-art technologies..

Under the contract, Emirates Facilities Management will deliver FM services to schools that function under the direct purview of the Ministry of Education. The services it will provide will include ensuring the efficient functioning of electromechanical systems, HVAC systems, and the upkeep of water supplies.
