ALMOST THERE: Layia Hospitality's first hotel property
Finishing touches are being applied to Layia Oak Hotel & Residence ahead of its scheduled opening this summer in Dubai, Layia Hospitality staff said this week.
This is the first hotel property for Layia Hospitality, the Dubai-based commercial brand under Layia Hotels Management Company.The hotel is located off Sheikh Zayed Road between the Mall of the Emirates and the Bin Battuta Mall.
The company has eight properties signed and is negotiating to develop seven more throughout the Middle East.Mohamed Awadalla, area general manager for Layia Hospitality, said the Layia Oak Hotel & Residence was designed for business travellers.
Our rooms are extra spacious so that our guests feel right at home and have been equipped with the very best in fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings," Awadalla said.
The hotel has 161 rooms and apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. Three multi-purpose rooms, a business centre, an outdoor pool, children's pool and carpark are also provided.
The hotel is about 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport and 10 minutes away from the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the Emirates Golf Course and Media City.
