Architecture and design firm has released details of Kuwait Business Town Towers.
The project, to be located in one of the three zones of the Kuwait Business Town Development, is estimated to cost around US$108 milliion.
The curtain wall design will make use of silver reflective glass, stainless steel panels, grey acrylic panels, and aluminium horizontal fins. The intention is that reflection of sunlight from these materials will create a facade that constantly changes its appearance. Each floor will also twist inward from the floor below, creating twisting towers.
"The duelling interplay of these two tower forms is unique and unmatched in Kuwait," claimed Raj Patel, KEO's principal designer for the project.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2010. KEO's other office projects in the region include the Kuwait Investment Authority Headquarters and the Al Sadd development in Doha, Qatar.
