Benoy completes Bahrain Marina first phase plans

International design company Benoy has released the first images of the first phase of the Bahrain Marina Development in Manama, Bahrain.

The Concept Masterplan is designed to reinvent the current marina with a 150,000m2 mixed use development which will also include the Bahrain Marina Yacht Club.

The plan include a five-star hotel, serviced apartments, retail outlets, a movie theatre and numerous food and beverage outlets. There will be berthing for 300 boats.

The project was commissioned by Amlak, the real estate investment arm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bahrain’s Social Insurance Organisation (SIO). Work is expected to start late 2015, with compleetion set for 2019.
