A Dubai real estate firm has restored Donald Trump's name on the $6bn golf complex it is building with the businessman, according to Reuters.

Trump's name was restored at the golf complex being built by Damac Properties just days after it was removed following his proposal to ban Muslims from entering America

The Republican presidential candidate sparked fury with his comments in response to deadly shootings in California by two Muslims, who authorities say were radicalised.

Gold letters spelling out 'Trump International Golf Club' at the entrance to the club were removed on Thursday, according to a Reuters photographer.

Damac delined to comment on Sunday on the beif removal of Trump's name.

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who bought an 85m luxury yacht from Trump in 1991, called from the billionaire to withdraw from the presidential race.

He tweeted: "You are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America. Withdraw from the U.S presidential race as you will never win."

Within hours, Trump posted a response on Twitter:

He tweeted: "Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our US politicians with daddy's money," he said. "Can't do it when I get elected."
