Hamdan Sports Complex and Imdaad renew FM contract

Hamdan Sports Complex has re-enlisted Imdaad as part of a two-year contract for the provision of facilities management (FM) services.

Under the terms of the renewed agreement, Imdaad will continue to provide hard FM and waste management services for the facility, which is located in Dubai, UAE.

FM professionals will provide “on-site, round-the-clock” service, to ensure “proper functioning of all systems in the complex”, according to Imdaad.

Commenting on the contract renewal, Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, said: “Imdaad has been providing FM services to Hamdan Sports Complex since its opening, and the renewal of the contract is a strategic achievement which reinforces its position as the foremost FM service provider in the region.

“Through our services, we strive to add value to the facility, while ensuring its efficiency and sustainable operation through our energy-saving solutions. Moreover, we conduct preventative as well as predictive maintenance to make sure that all systems at the complex are fully operational at all times.

“We are confident that through our innovative services, Hamdan Sports Complex will cointinue to be a leading sporting arena in the UAE,” he added.

As part of the enw agreement, Imdaad will provide services related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); fire protection; solar heating; underwater cameras; security and access control; and lifeguard monitoring.

HE Saeed Hareb, seceratry general of Dubai Sports Council and vice chairman of Hamdan Sports Complex, commented: “The recent renewal of our collaboration [with Imdaad] reflects [the] excellent working relationship between both parties. The new contract signals the continuation of our common, long-standing commitment to work, hand in hand, in order to provide the highest quality of services.

“We at Hamdan Sports Complex welcome the renewal of our agreement as we look forward to a new period of fruitful cooperation with the leading FM company,” he concluded.

Hamdan Sports Complex is the largest multi-purpose sports facility in the Middle East. Occupying a space of 24ha, it boasts a seating capacity of 15,000 spectators and is capable of hosting 13 different sports.
