Middle East-based Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings has won a US $7.8 million (AED28.6 million) turnkey contract to build Dubai Bank’s branch in Jumeirah, Dubai.
The contract involves the construction of the building spread across 6600m2 over four levels – basement, ground, mezzanine and first levels. The total area of the land is 3000m2.
The building, which is expected to be completed by end April, has been designed by consultant Naga Architects.
Mohammed Al Qarout, Amana special projects general manager said, “The new Dubai Bank branch in Jumeirah is a landmark project. Once complete, the building will boast of the most modern, interactive equipment and security systems required for the bank. The time frame is very crucial and the project is being executed through perfect and stringent planning.”
Established in 1993, Amana has more than 1500 buildings constructed across the region.
Ali Al Hashimi, chief operating officer at Dubai Bank said, “We are happy to award this project to Amana, which is famed for its quality delivery schedules and regional expertise in constructing iconic buildings in the region.”
