Silaa and Ghayathi already have Tamm centres operating in temporary facilities. Plans for the Mirfa Tamm centre were unveiled by the WRM last week at the Mirfa Hotel.
The project forms part of a push by the WRM to improve the accessibility of government services from the current level of 67% to 100% by the beginning of 2010.
WRM general manager Hamood Humaid Al Mansouri said in a statement, “As the Western Region population grows it is essential for the municipality to plan ahead to maintain the advancement in how we service the public and build on the milestones achieved.”
The centres will be home to essential service providers or partners including Etisalat and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Further service partners will be announced at a later date.
