UAE Company awards $100m contract

Emirates Aluminium has awarded contracts worth US $100 million to two companies, French group ECL and Australian firm Kempe.

The companies will build an onsite anode rodding plant, which will provide metal bars for the smelter currently under construction at Taweelah in Abu Dhabi.
