Mexican cement manufacturer Cemex SAB de CV is to spend US $460 million (MXN5 billion) to build a new kiln at its Tepeaca cement plant in Puebla, Mexico.
The new kiln is expected to increase production at the plant to 7.6 million tonnes per year, from current production of 3.2 million.
Cemex SAB de CV�s chairman and chief executive, Lorenzo Zambrano, has said that the investment represents the company�s confidence in the growing Mexican cement market.
