Leviton, a US manufacturer of wiring devices, has opened its Middle East regional office in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The company is investing US $ 2 million in ramping up it’s business in the Middle East and is expecting to double it’s investment every year going forward. The immediate focus of the company’s business development will be on commercial networking and structured cabling business, as well as lighting management solutions.
“The opening of the Leviton office in Dubai is a sign of our commitment to the Middle East market which is an important and growing market that has demonstrated high demand for Leviton’s Network Solutions products,” said Bruno Filio, VP – International Business Development at the privately-held firm commented.
“We will seek growth and leadership position here through our excellent mix of technology, knowledge, experienced workforce and quality partnerships. We are potentially looking at manufacturing in the region in four or five years time.”
