Concept Piping Systems (CPS), a subsidiary of Gulf General Investment Company (GGICO) signed a distributor agreement with Pipes Technology Company, a Qatar-based firm at the Big 5 Exhibition, on the second day of the show.
Pipes Technology will be the sole distributor of the Ras Al Khaimah-based manufacturer in Qatar for its products - Thermo Concept, Draino Concept, Draino Concept Silent, Electro Concept, ConceptPert, and AgroConcept.
Speaking to ConstructionWeekOnline on the “new partnership”. Joseph Nahra, CEO of Concept Piping Systems said: [Pipes Technology Company] is not only our sole and exclusive distributor in Qatar, but our partner in business.”
Nahra also said that the agreement with Pipes Technology has come at the right time as the construction industry in Qatar is growing “leaps and bounds”. “We have already [captured] an important share of the Qatari market, as we manufacture high quality and technologically advanced construction piping systems.”
Concept Piping Systems also recently signed an exclusive agreement with for distribution of its products in Yemen. Apart from having a strong presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, CPS operates globally as well. He said: “We’ve got 25 agents approximately all over the world and we are expanding further.”
Nahra added that the company’s product - Draino Concept Silent is the only certified silent piping system in the MENA region. “Concept Piping System is a high-tech pipe manufacturing company with the most advanced technology in the region’s piping industry.
“Draino Concept Silent is our most unique product with certifications from United Kingdom and Germany. All our (six) products are high-tech.”
Concept Piping Systems’ project portfolio in the UAE includes residential projects in Abu Dhabi, Town Square Dubai, Time Royal Hotel, Saadiyat Rotana Hotel and Resort, Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, Meydan Height Villas, Sobha Sapphire 301, and towers in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai.
