UAE: Blue is the new black, says Bo Concept, which has incorporated blue-toned fabrics and leathers for sofas, chairs and footstools into its 2009 collection.

Watercolours in their various nuances, from turquoise to deep, dark indigo blue, have been embraced by the company’s new furniture lines.

Bo Concept’s decorative vases, handmade, detailed cushions and rugs in a variety of textures and designs can also be called upon to inject a splash of blue into any space. Dark tones add a more cool, discreet and masculine touch of glamour, which offsets the more
daring and luxurious styles so popular right now. Blue can also be used in combination with black, grey, brown, copper or white to create a feeling of refined luxury, the company maintained.
