ENOC's vehicle testing unit Tasjeel has signed a contract with the Dubai Municipality to provide technical inspection services for the light and heavy vehicles and equipment of the Municipality and establish dedicated test tracks for transport department vehicles.

Under the terms of the deal, ENOC will provide an integrated technical system, and procure both the inspection equipment and hire the necessary technical staff in accordance with RTA regulations.

The contract was signed by Ahmed Obeid Al Falasi, assistant director general for corporate support sector at the Dubai Municipality, and Zaid Abdul Rahman Al Qafidi, executive director for the retail sector at the ENOC Group.

The duration of the contract is five years and the technical works will include the technical inspection of the full range of equipment for the municipality – both at the work site and on the specified test tracks that will be set up at ENOC’s Tasjeel Centres.
