Kuwait's Minister of Public Works announced that an operation and maintenance (O&M) contract worth $9m (KWD2.82m) was recently inked by his department. 

Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa said the contract covers the water pump station and treated distribution network of farms in Al-Abadli.

The contract includes the transfer of water connections according to requirements of work, Al-Mutawa added, according to state agency, KUNA

Identifying fractures in major and sub-lines is also a part of the contract's scope, as is the provision of regular maintenance services for the project.
