The following video contains details of Al Hamra Group’s (AHG) ongoing projects.

The Ras Al Khaimah-based real estate conglomerate is pushing ahead with a diverse array of developments, including a $10m (AED36.7m) renovation of Al Hamra Village’s beaches.

AHG is nearing the closing stages of its $100m (AED367.3m) refurbishment and expansion of Manar Mall, Ras Al Khaimah’s oldest shopping centre.

Al Hamra Village’s former Banyan Tree Hotel is currently undergoing a $10m (AED36.7m) transformation, which will see it reopen as a luxury, five-star Ritz-Carlton resort.

The developer told Construction Week that Phase 2 of its Bayti Homes residential project is now under design, with individual units expected to cost less than $272,000 (AED1m).

In the longer term, AHG has acquired a plot of land in Dubai’s Business Bay area, and intends to develop its first project outside of Ras Al Khaimah.

Our full-length interview with AHG’s general manager, Benoy Kurien, was published in issue 665 of Construction Week.
