Property developer Oriental Pearls launched the Royal Pearls development at Cityscape Global 2017, which is currently underway in Dubai.

Sales for the development were also opened at the exhibition.

Royal Pearls is a 42.7ha community comprising more than 7,000 freehold apartments, and is located in Dubai's Meydan master development.

The developer says it has completed more than 10% of the project's first phase, with completion scheduled by 2020.

Enabling works for the first 1,565 apartments have been completed, and the anticipated completion for all units is scheduled for November 2019.

The development will also include a community centre, water features, and a landscaped park.

In addition, the development will feature leisure offerings, cafes, restaurants, a 55-seat private theatre, a day-care centre, a multi-functional hall, a spa, a salon, bowling alley, squash courts, and a fitness centre.

Oriental Pearls’ new development is said to support the Smart Dubai initiative, aimed at promoting efficient and safe services.

Once complete, the community will serve residents with home automation, smart security, and integrated facilities management (FM).
