CBRE Middle East has expanded its advisory and transaction services team with two senior appointments.

The real estate consultancy has hired Zeynep Sarsar as its retail agency team manager, and Jayne Higgins as a senior consultant within the same division.

With more than five years of regional experience, Sarsar’s previous employers include Colliers International and McArthur + Company.

In her new role, Sarsar will support CBRE Middle East’s retail agency in its retail leasing, retail consultancy, and business development activities.

Higgins boasts four years of real estate experience in the Middle East and the United Kingdom, working in both the property management and retail leasing segments.

In her new position, Higgins will work with CBRE Middle East’s retail agency to support a cross-section of asset classes, conducting retail leasing, consultancy activities, and market research on behalf of the firm’s regional clients.

Nick Maclean, managing director of CBRE Middle East, said: “This is an exciting chapter for CBRE as we continue to expand our team with driven and committed individuals to best serve our clients.

“With a strong team of experienced professionals, and a combined experience of over 10 years in the region, these key appointments will further develop and strengthen CBRE’s regional status.

“I am confident that with Jayne and Zeynep’s experience, we will build on our growing advisory and transactions team, and continue to drive results for our clients,” he added.

CBRE provides a diverse range of real estate services in the Middle East, including valuation; tenant and landlord agency; research and consultancy; property management; project management; facilities management (FM); and global corporate services.
