Dubai Industrial City vice president Rashed Al Ansari.
Dubai Industrial City has announced the early completion of grading work on its 15 million m2 phase-two development.
The grading work, which included the levelling off of land and the demarcation of plots, was finished within eight months.
Work was expedited to help construction work commence on respective industrial units, Dubai Industrial City vice president Rashed Al Ansari said.
“We have initiated appropriate measures to ensure investors gain possession of their designated plots and begin construction work as soon as possible,” Al Ansari said.

“Work on the remaining segments of our project will also proceed as planned. Prioritising the grading work came in response to clients’ desire to have early access to their plots in the second phase of Dubai Industrial City."
This progress comes just two weeks after the industrial city announced it had completed the construction of 64 showrooms and that it expected to have 30 factories operating there by the end of the year.
“Our investors have production deadlines and commitment to their own suppliers and consequently we are keen to enable them to commence work on their factories,” added Al Ansari.
Dubai Industrial City is a 52 million m2 development for industrial and commercial use.
