Jamie Darragh, associate director at Black & White Engineering, won the electrical engineer award.

Darragh is a chartered engineer, with knowledge across all development sectors in the UK and internationally including museum, historic, healthcare, commercial, leisure, transport, residential, retail and educational establishments.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, a member of the institute of Engineering and Technology and an affiliate of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management.

He is responsible for the development of B&W’s design mindset in adherence to LEED, Estidama and the Dubai GBG. 

This year Darragh's primary focus has been the design management and project delivery of Dubai Festival City Mall.

Darragh said at the awards: “I’m just going to continue to progress in different positions, and I’ve been fortunate to work with great teams and have that support structure around me, which has made a big difference.”
