Arabtec Engineering Services, a subsidiary of Arabtec Holding, confirmed it has signed a US $41 million (AED150 million) deal with Dubai Municipality.
The contract, which runs for 28 months, is for house connections, rehabilitation works, construction of sewers and drains, pumping stations, pressure mains, and all related infrastructure maintenance works.
It also covers emergency works to prevent or alleviate flooding, following a few days of heavy rain which left many parts of the emirate water-logged.
This latest deal follows a contract successfully completed by Arabtec in January.
