Ajman Crown Prince launches $11m Civil Defence headquarters

The new headquarters of Ajman Civil Defence has been launched by HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.

The facility, developed at a cost of $10.9m (AED40m), is located in Al Jurf 2. It comprises administrative offices, a customer service centre, a multi-purpose hall, and a firefighting centre, as well as officers and public residences.

Designed according to national sustainability standards, the facility will offer aid and assistance to civil defence departments around the country, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported.

According to Sheikh Ammar, providing security and safety services and protecting private property are among the priorities of the Ministry of Interior.

The ministry aims to establish civil defence centres across the UAE, he said, adding that the Ajman Government has enhanced its efforts to support the security services in the emirate.
