The Landbridge project is a 950km railway connecting Jeddah on the Red Sea with Dammam city. The project will also include a 115km rail track to connect King Fahd Industrial Port with Jubail Industrial City.

Haramain High Speed Rail Project is a rail link connecting Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah. The railway will be a high speed electrified passenger double line capable of running trains at speeds of up to 360kmph. The design, construction, operation and maintenance of the project will be executed in two phases.
Client: Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) Value: US $1.9 billion Consultants: Dar Al Handasa Consultants; Getinsa Contractors: Al Rajhi consortium Project Duration: Q2 2009 to Q1 2013 Schedule: Al Rajhi consortium won the civil works contract for the Project last January. Construction began in April.
