Integrated facilities management company Imdaad has signed a deal with Abu Dhabi-based realtor Aswaq Management and Services to act as its strata, operations, health, safety and environmental consultant.
The partnership will, according to reports, focus on AMS’ assigned properties in Abu Dhabi and across the Emirates, GCC and Levant Countries.
Of the move, AMS chairman HE Nasser Mohammed Al Nowais said: “Within the context of global financial crisis, the challenge for the real estate market in the Middle-East is to provide seamless services and management in conjunction with property consultants.”
Al Nowais went on to state that maintenance is key to asset protection and therefore value.
“Imdaad provide expertise in facilities management and has an excellent track record of maintaining many key properties across the region. Their technical know-how, logistics and human resource capabilities will create synergies with AMS in the provision of property consultancy, assistance and management services to property owners and developers, from initial design through to completion and operation.”
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Imdaad CEO, said of the strategic importance of the deal: “Our joint venture with AMS places new responsibilities on us and we are confident of executing them effectively and seamlessly through our strategic solutions.”
