During Sustainability Week senior management undertook the commitment to choose a number of pledges each from a shopping list of 32 items, and provide regular feedback to the Emrill Sustainability Team on progress; and to become a member of the Green Generation by signing up on the World Earth Day website, the goal of which is to achieve one billion members.
“We also actively encourage our people to volunteer and support Emirates Environmental Group in various activities, such as can collection and tree planting,” Dobson pointed out. “Sustainability has long been an important differentiator for us in the UK, and has since been adopted by Emrill Services here in the Middle East.”
