Al Shirawi will look after FM at Al Seef Tower One for three years.
Al Seef Tower Owners Association (ASOA) has signed a three-year contract with the Al Shirawi Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Company (ASEME) for the provision of full facilities management services over 44 floors.
Previously managed by Maf Dalkia Middle East, the tender award comes as the September deadline for owners association registration nears, handing control of building management services to residents.
Navin Valrani, ASEME CEO said of the win: “The ASOA is made up of forward-thinking individuals willing to put in the time and effort to make this partnership work, for the benefit of all residents in Al Seef Tower One.
“Working with new subcontractors, including US Chiller Services, Al Shirawi FM is looking at a long-term relationship with the ASOA, one where Al Seef Tower One is a Dubai flagship, ready to comply with new strata legislation.”
Al Shirawi FM was awarded the ASOA contract following a full open tender selection process managed by the ASOA, which said of the move: “Al Shirawi FM was chosen for its transparency and commitment to improve and integrate Al Seef’s building services.”
Al Seef Tower One was one of the first towers to be completed in the Dubai Marina district. It has a high level of occupancy by Dubai standards, with over 150 apartments, six shops and three parking levels, making a total of 534,000 billable square feet.
The KPI-based contract is structured around ISO-accredited method statements pertaining to integrated hotel services, said Valrani. " It will deliver an air conditioning technical support programme, MEP, security, maintenace, landscaping, utilities, sewerage, reception and other soft services," he added.
