Marafeq FM has won a one-year contract to provide full FM services to a Dubai Marina development.
Iris Blue, the Indian-based Sheth Group development in Dubai Marina, has awarded Marafeq Facilities Management a one-year contract to provide full facilities management services.
Marafeq general manager Mick Dalton said of the win: “The building’s developers and owners associations tendered to 10 companies. We won the contract not because we were the cheapest, but because we could mobilise operations in one day, presented a transparent service fee model and could demonstrate our ability to work with owners associations and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority regarding legislation.
“Our aim is to please the owners, the owners association and the developer, improve the running of the tower and maintain asset value,” said Dalton.
Eighteen ground workers are operating the mixed-use tower, which has a total billable space of 249,534 square feet.
