A one-time consignment of construction materials will be allowed into the blockaded Gaza Strip, for the first time this year.
A major blockade has been imposed on the coastal enclave since conflict in December and January resulted in the deaths of 1,400 Palestinians and left large swathes of Gaza in ruins.
More than 310 tonnes of cement will be transferred into Gaza to rebuild a flour mill, a sewage treatment and the British cemetery, according to the Agence France-Presse news agency.
The consignment will also include some steel and is likely to expedited in the coming weeks.
Senior US officials have been visiting the region this week in an attempt to foster better relations, and UN representatives have been trying for some time to coordinate the transfer of badly needed materials for construction projects in Gaza.
