Tameer Holding has commenced the delivery of units at the recently completed Palace Towers.
The developer marked the hand over by making the managing director of Peri, a manufacturer of formwork, the first tenant.
“I am delighted to receive the first commercial unit at Palace Towers. It gives me great pleasure to be in the neighborhood of several major organisations that have chosen to establish their headquarters in Dubai Silicon Oasis, and I am confident the location will present strategic commercial advantages,” said Hans Joachim Rau, Peri managing director.
The office and residential units that make up the mixed use development, which commenced construction in 2007, were due to be handed over in March.
But last month Tameer President Federico Tauber insisted “The project was completed two months ago and we see this as a two month delay. There is no particular reason for it. You face a lot of challenges towards the final stages of a project.”
“I thank all our investors and the entire Tameer team for their commitment to the Palace Towers project. We are very proud to present our first units to owners and look forward to welcoming the new occupants to this landmark complex in Dubai Silicon Oasis,” he added.
