Big 5 PMV has partnered with Build Safe UAE to promote best practice safety solutions.
Construction safety will be highlighted at the Big 5 PMV exhibition, set to take place between November 23 and 26.
Build Safe UAE group administrator Elias McGrath said contractors and property developers who devote time and money in the area of health, safety and welfare, and can greatly benefit in the long-term.

“Mindsets are changing and organisations are realising the true value of investing in health and safety, as a way of improving the bottom line,” he explained. “The benefits include completing projects on time, building a good reputation, ensuring quality of build and boosting the morale of workers.”
The news follows a spate of accidents around the Gulf including a labour camp fire, which broke out in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, making the need to raise awareness even more appropriate.
For the second year, Build Safe UAE is partnering with the event to communicate to international contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, that the region takes health and safety issues seriously.
IPAF, a non-profit organisation, which promotes safe use of powered access worldwide has also partnered with Big 5 PMV in line with the event.
“There is plenty of scope to improve safety standards in this region and we're seeing a clear desire from major contractors to raise these standards,” said IPAF managing director Tim Whiteman. “Ipaf Industry events such as the Big 5 PMV are very important to showcase powered access as a safe and effective way to work at height.”
The Big 5 PMV takes place alongside the Big 5, the region's most influential construction and contracting event.
